British Summer is Here!

Sunday was a glorious day. As the news would report, the hottest day in London so far this year, and likely to remain the hottest day of the year, hitting a high of.......*drum roll*.......30oC! doesn't sound too hot but boy was i perspiring and desperately needing the sunglasses and ending up with a tan!

We managed to take a walk in Hyde Park before the FA Community Shield. And you know the British summer is here when you spot the following:

• Swan is out of the water pruning its feathers

• People are out fishing, although I'm not too sure what they will be able to catch from the Serpentine
  

• The paddle boat is actually raking in the money!
  

• The colourful deck chairs are out!
  
  

• and the Brits read their Sunday morning papers out in the sun rather than inside a cafe (+ using their dog as a comfy leg rest)
  
  

• and the rare chance for ladies to get their bikini tan lines!
  
  

• the asians hiding from the sun under their umbrellas. for this particular asian below, using the tree as a shelter instead
