We're through!

We made it! YaY! Was pretty demoralized when we lost Cardiff 5-2 initially, but came back with a better strategy to win Oxford 4-2 and shut out their 2 best players. Got pretty tired by the time we played Edinburgh, but managed to hold out to win 5-2. two of the Edinburgh players were part of the Scotland team that played in the Commonwealth, Lissie is really nice and we shook hands after, the other one wasn't as nice though, I got headbutted by her 3 times and now am finding it hard to chew on my right side. We had our nail biting moments after our matches as Oxford had the capability of putting us out of the finals if they managed to win Cardiff by 3 goals. Hah, but Cardiff prevailed in the end (prob cos we were cheering them on so loudly).

Bottomline is: We are through to the FINALS! Yay!! Will be good to get a medal since this will probably be my last year playing for UL.

Am EXTERMELY tired now. Facing King's later. And it is back to the gruelling routine of work and training (+ taking care of my garang soldier who has just fallen terribly ill!) for the next 2 weeks!
