SINGAPORE - Terrorism-related issues and emergency preparedness will be high on the agenda when Deputy Prime Minister Wong Kan Seng visits London next week, the government said on Friday.
Mr Wong, who is also the Home Affairs minister, is scheduled to meet with British Home Secretary Charles Clarke and other key officials during his visit from March 13-16.
Among the items on his agenda will be 'emergency preparedness and terrorism-related issues,' the ministry of home affairs said in a statement.
Singapore, a staunch US ally in the fight against terrorism, sees itself as a prime target for attacks.
Officials here have said the Republic could learn lessons from how London authorities and residents responded to the terrorist bombings there last year. -- AFP
