Portugal Day 7 - 21st Dec 05

Last day! Woke up real early to try to catch the sunrise but was too cloudy. Made it to the bakery at 630 am and got bread fresh from the oven. Chocolate croissant was heavenly, made direct on the spot and everything else was real cheap and good. Value for money! Should always go where the locals go. There were plenty of them in the shop so early in the morning.

Brought our breakfast back to the aparment to enjoy in the terrace, coupled with hot Horlicks and a fine game of checkers. Too bad the bananas on the tree weren't ripe yet. Pity.

Made our way down to the series of cove beaches that demarcate the coast of Lagos. So many caves and just a good feeling to be in the sun, sand and sea. Something that you'll never get in London.

Spent the whole morning taking in the sights, drawing in the sand, conquering the waves and strolling along the beach. Definitely the most relaxing day of the whole trip.

There you see it, the light at the end of the tunnel, which also marks the end of our trip. Adios.
