Got there early enough to get some cheap ice skating in. Hee, was definitely fun to ice-skate again and without falling! ZW's first time and he's already so good. NOT fair.
Then we headed further inside the palace to be welcomed by the neon lights of the fun fair. Loads of rides and games to play...just too ex...although i really wanted to play the bumper car!
Of course, last but not least, what we really went there for, the F-I-R-E-W-O-R-K-S! It was great, to see the city line lighting up from time to time with little 'fireballs'. and then it was the real thing, lighting up the night sky in sync with the music be it fast or slow for a whole 30 mins!
Then comes the hard part, getting through the massive throngs of people, and fighting against traffic (i mean vehicles) to get to the tube station..sure felt like another new year countdown, but definitely worthwhile.
