waterpolo tournament

had a friendly round robin game today at the sports centre. played agst 4 teams, icsm, gkt and ucl. well..i treated it as a friendly and a chance for the less experienced players to have a go at the game..yup..so basically i slacked quite alot for the first two games..haha..quite a good feeling actually. saw sarah improving on her attack and defense...then there was seb and other new players who had quite a good time too. nice. think we were the only team having proper fun where the score was not our main concern..i think we were just contented playing a hard game that's all..was good...

cos when ucl and gkt played agst each other..the game got ugly as tempers flared and the atmosphere became tense...well...these two teams met in the final playoffs for 1st and 2nd place again obviously..and i was the referee for that game!!! hehe..highlight of the day for me really! been a long time since i last refereed, that was just before i left s'pore where louis gave me the chance to referee sunday games. xiao er ke really...the girls in s'pore are going to ref the inter sch A and B div wpolo matches! so cool!!

well, got questioned at some pts during the game by some of the players..but just shrugged it off...i have the final say anyway..hehe...but i am pleased with my referring today neverthelss..hehe..i finally managed to blow a series of whistles without having to breathe in between..haha...louis will be so proud of me..hehe...will seriously consider taking up a refereeing course if i can.

had a really filling dinner at the basement of holiday inn...with unlimited coke...nice ambience too =)) ooh...good day...and just came back from eclipse, went to celebrate jenny's 21st..it's a pub along old brompton rd...nice place too...with a wide variety of drinks...and it's near the hall too...didn't take long to get back. hehe..

time to get some sleep now...there's going to be a guest speaker in church and london league tmr. =)
