attended a series of talks by the cu over the week and what better way to end it all with vision sunday today. took home with me many many thoughts: why did Jesus go through the crucifixion when he could just have simply pricked his finger, shed some blood and wash away our sins? Answer: He wanted to go all the way for us.

Suffering happens because humanity made it that way, but He came that we may have life and have it more abundantly. can't help but reflect on how my life has been going so smoothly throughout these years. never have i walked so closely with him before. and truly, his goodness abounds. thinking back, i'm amazed that i can't really pinpoint any 'suffering' i've undergone and yet not triumphed over it. really grateful for what God has done in my life. Praise the Lord!

with that said, things have been falling into place this past week. finally decided to join the penguins, decided on a destination for easter vacation, settled household stuff for the time being, starting to be studious....etc. etc. at the same time, finding time to catch up with frens and family be it in uk or back home. nice.
