sch has finally ended though it never felt like it started....however..suddenly feel the urge to study and catch up with work...mabbe due to the fact that i have not really touched any of my books or notes...plus tons of homework..lab report..essay...mcqs...upcoming major exam...plus polo competition to train for...eek..

been out for like 3 days straight now...wanted to go swimming on friday but alas, the pool was closed...how unlucky..sigh....think my stamina is prob non-existent now...getting terribly unfit and regrettably, fat. weather's not helping much...been really cold of late...apparently winter is setting in that's why....and snow has been predicted for the next two nights..let's see how true it is...mabbe i'll get to spend a white christmas here in london =)

xinyu, tj, aiqi and edward came down from cmu last thurs/fri. so as hosts, we have been bringing them around london whenever they needed us as tour guides. funny how you only get to know london better when you bring your friends ard. =) went down to camden market yesterday! it's like a bugis street 100 times over...so many small little shops...was very tempted to buy stuff..but decided agst it in the end...shops selling clothes, shoes, handicrafts even food...had quite alot of punk stuff...and shady dealings such as magic mushroom and cannabis lollipops. went off to meet pris at knightsbridge later....bought krispy kreme doughnuts...heh..very sweet but nice =p....esp delectable when it's hot..*happy*

went down to st paul's cathedral today. not too bad...i like the architecture of the exterior though i think westminster abbey still has more intricate furnishings and engravings. the book store is amazing... i bought two books in the end....one children's story book: God Bless Me and another: the lion treasury of children's prayers

It is not far to go

For you are near

It is not far to go

For you are here

And not by travelloing, Lord,

We come to you,

But by the way of love

and we love you

walked to tate modern via the millenium bridge...had a really nice view of thames...could even see tower bridge from there...=p NICE...didn't go into tate modern with the rest cos i had to rush off for church...

it was christmas service at the palace theatre today! cool...heh...the christmas tree was really packed with gifts for the refugee children...it's amazing how generous everyone is...had a really good praise and worship session followed by the worship team's own redition of 'have yourself a merry little christmas', 'silent night' and a whole lot more songs....followed by a sermon on what christmas really is...and ended with more songs and confettii!!

joy to the world

all the boys and girls

joy to the people everywhere you see

joy to you and me
