especially for the polo girls =))

juz came back from the penguins vs otters match...played for penguins today...won 10-6 i think. well...thought i wldn't get to play much since i was there to make up the numbers..there were 11 of us altogether in the end...not bad though..played abt half the game...well...even when i was standing by the side of the pool watching the game, i was juz so amazed by the TEAMWORK that was going on in the game.....wished i could have videoed it down for you guys...really good...there were like quite a few nice passes from one end to the other end which ended up in goals of course. hai...next time i will bring my digi cam i promise.

ok..let me tell you abt the penguins first....we are made up of ok swimmers....not like super speedy....skills wise not bad...i think their ball handling skills are really good...heh..cos they watch the game very well..so they pass really NICE and ACCURATE passes...very good..heh..i think the ball hardly got stolen cos of that....today..we played 'press on the ball side' which means defend on the path between the ball and your opponent...yah...turned out to be really effective esp in the centre cos alot of balls got intercepted then...

otters leh....very fierce and violent..costume got pulled everywhere lor...super dun like them..made up of fast swimmers too...spent some time chasing them when they countered.

on my side....dun think i played properly today....didn't drive much...mabbe cos the otter gals were sticking so close and pulling my costume..i really dislike that..grr....anyhow....i was trying to draw a foul...didn't get it..tried again...and accidentally did a head butt....yah...i realized it so i was like saying 'sorry'...then cos the referee(this russian ex-national player who's damn strict abt the rules..mabbe he noes slava) blew a foul juz when i was saying 'sorry' right..he probably thought i said a bad word...so he sacked me!!!! ahhh!!!..now i noe why louis says dun say sorry lor...tsk.so yuan wang. well...anyway..because of that...i got to witness the first 'rushing' technique being used in a 6 on 5 situation..it's really good lor...they kept forcing long passes from wing to wing to buy time..then there were chances for interception too...heh..obviously no goal was converted in the end. =))

i'm so inspired now..heh..i think won't be able to sleep early tonight..heh..high on polo..haha...suddenly dun feel tired anymore....=) think i'll be joining the penguins for training from now on...heh..opportunity to improve...heh..you guys shld come over!! ask mr tan!!!
